Bad bacteria pose an increasing risk to public health because existing antibiotics are becoming less effective in practice and new medicines are not yet on the shelf.

The leading German detergent research institute, Wfk – Cleaning Technology Institute in Krefeld, is the leader of the Autoprotect project in which new antibacterial materials are developed and tested for use on walls and floors, for example. This mainly concerns places with an extra large risk such as schools, hospitals, care centers and intensively used public spaces.

As a developer and manufacturer of cleaning agents with 70 years of practical experience, Militex is the ideal partner in this project. Together we test the robustness of the innovative new surfaces and we develop cleaning systems that are compatible with the new materials. This project has been made possible by a European subsidy.
