From December 1, Dennis Koekenbier and Guus Ploeger jointly form the new management of Militex BV. They take over the responsibilities of the current general manager Fred Homburg, who is approaching retirement age. Guus Ploeger takes over the position of commercial director and Dennis Koekenbier becomes operational director. Fred Homburg remains active within Militex and is responsible for strategy, innovation and new business models.
Guus Ploeger: “Since I have been responsible for commercial activities within Militex for several years, it is a logical step that I took on the role of commercial director. Our cleaning products of course clean very well, but they are also an experience product, for example by smell, use and convenience. Safety and responsibility for users, and work, and living environment are very important. We are starting this new organizational structure to be able to respond even better to the ever faster changing demands of the cleaning market. The need of the market is the starting point. Our strength is that we offer distinctive solutions together with our customers and clients. I’m really looking forward to this new challenge!”
Dennis Koekenbier: “As a young production worker I started at Militex 25 years ago. I have always concentrated on the content of the business and have grown to be the man responsible for production, safety, CSR and quality management. Now as a director, I look forward to taking all matters that are under my management to a higher level. Of course, our national and international customers are central to this. Whether it is a small wholesale dealer, an international large corporation, or our large group of loyal customers, they have to be pampered by our team of committed and qualified employees. This is how customers turn into partners who invest with us in the future and make long-term successes.”
